TOURNAMENT FORMAT

For every win by a player of the respective team (Irrespective of the Category) , The team gets Points.

Team with most # of points (all categories combined) is declared “TEAM CHAMPION” and will receive a “Net-Flicks – Team Champion Trophy” and shall defend the title next year.

The following table states the number of points given to the team, depending on the phase of the tournament

BWF Format (LEAGUE CUM KNOCKOUT)

League Stage
A minimum of 2 Matches for each category player
3 sets of 15 points each (race to 15)
Number of groups and matches in League Stage are subject to change depending on the number of entries in each category. Will be communicated in advance along with fixtures.

Knockout (Single Elimination)
Round of 16, QF will be the best of 3 games of 15 points each ( Race to 15 )
Semi Finals and Finals will be best of 3 games of 21 points each
Note: Fixtures will be announced in advance. Number of teams in each group depends in the respective category.
Groups with 48 entries, 16 groups of 3 teams each. 1 Group Topper will enter R16
Groups with 24 entries, 8 groups of 3 teams each. 1 Topper goes straight to QF
In some cases even points difference determines who proceeds to the next round
